A soft, shiny, beautiful coat is an external indication of a healthy dog. The ingredients in this recipe are packed with fatty acids and biotin, two of the bulding blocks for a glossy coat.
Sleek & Shiny Kong Stuffing Recipe

- Mix together the salmon, sweet potato, sunflower hearts, and a pinch of wheat bran.
- Stuff the mixture into the Kong and serve at room temperature.
Ingredient Notes
I prefer to use fresh wild-caught salmon rather than the canned variety. Cook in plain olive oil, shred or dice into chunks, and allow to cool.
Sunflower hearts are sunflower kernels with no hulls/shells. Choose an unsalted, unflavored variety.
Sweet potato should have the skins removed and be fully cooked. You can cut it into chunks or mash it, then allow to cool before serving.
Choose an unflavored, plain wheat bran and use just a pinch.
